2000 Golden Rain – Modern Coastal with a Soft Edge

This remodel at 2000 Golden Rain gave us serious beach house vibes without leaving Rossmoor. Clean lines, fresh white cabinetry, soft sea-glass greens, and glassy tile accents came together to create a space that feels light, calm, and quietly luxurious.

In the kitchen, we went full refresh. We installed sleek white cabinetry with soft-close drawers, a large quartz-topped island for prep and casual dining, and stainless steel appliances. The seafoam arabesque backsplash brought the pop, while playful pendant lights added just enough personality to make the space feel unique and homeowner-loved.

Throughout the home, we focused on functionality and flow. We widened walkways, added stylish lighting, and carried durable wood-look floors from the main spaces into the hall for warmth and cohesion.

The bathroom is all about texture and tone. The mint green walls, modern vanity, and custom circular mirror set the stage, while the walk-in shower brings it home with taupe tile and a vertical accent of bubbly mosaic in shades of blue and cream. It’s cheerful, modern, and totally practical for aging in place without feeling clinical.

From the custom closet doors to the calming living space finishes, this project brought a fresh perspective to classic Rossmoor living. This is what it looks like when modern design meets coastal charm and thoughtful construction.
